NO MEAT MAY

Now more than ever, we need to rethink the way we treat ourselves and the planet.
With this global pandemic, we have been forced to stay home giving us an opportunity to think about many things. Things that we were too busy to think about. Things that we didn’t want to to think about. Things that we knew to be true but chose not to believe.
I am sure that among those things that crossed our minds, we thought about our health, and the way we eat. Most of us realized that we could do better. Some of us have taken the opportunity to eat healthier, but maybe some of us have just been overwhelmed with everything that is going on. And that is ok. Because there is always tomorrow, and there is always a future.
So do not let overwhelm get the best of you and take this opportunity to re-examine your dietary choices. Do it for your health, and for the health of the planet.

I challenge you this month of May to try and make a change, to try and instill better habits, to try and face the truth, to try and make one step towards progress, towards healing, towards compassion. Join me and others in the No Meat May community and try 31 days (or however many you can) of veggie goodness.

NO MEAT MAY

One thing COVID-19 is teaching us is that we can and must live differently to protect the most vulnerable  – and that includes animals and our fragile planet.
