NOURISH (UK: /ˈnʌr.ɪʃ/ US: /ˈnɝː.ɪʃ/) 1. to sustain with food or nutriment; supply with what is necessary for life, health, and growth. 2. to cherish; keep alive 3. to strengthen or promote; foster. Doesn’t it sound wonderful? Doesn’t it make you feel all warm and fuzzy when you hear that? It certainly makes me feel good. And it certainly makes me feel even happier when I hear and know what the word means.
